CDS integrates with IDIS, another time saving feature. Periodic reports include the details required by HUD and CDBG funding. Grantees complete their periodic reports, and once approved by Staff, the reports queue up. Then, with the click of a button, the demographics of those served by the grantee are transmitted and populate their respective fields in IDIS.
Where there is a need for immediate information, we want to respond. CDS is currently developing tools for use in the field. We are working with various jurisdictions developing a system that makes it possible to know the availability of beds and services, hour by hour. CDS is used by service and housing providers that complete all the required documentation for managing their grants and/or loans online. This includes application, quarterly activity reports, expense reports, and requests for reimbursement. Staff from public agencies manage the subsequent approval process through CDS.
CDS provides training to groups and individuals anytime needed. Typically, we provide training at applicant information and oversight board meetings. Throughout the year, we work directly with grantees and provide any assistance they may need during critical application and reporting periods. We are always only an email or phone call away.
On each page in CDS’ systems there is a, “Help With This Page”, tab. In these tabs are specific instructions about how to use each page. And, best of all, each "Help With This Page", includes our contact email and phone numbers, available to any user, anytime!
